Sera Proto is a Vtuber who is an Alien that looks like a mix between a shrimp and sheep. But Sera changes what she looks like often. The one thing consistent about her appearance is the star patterns and speckles she uses. She was sent to Earth as an observer of Earthican culture to see if they're ready for integration with space faring societies. She says most species can't ascend to this point without help, so it's convince her people or stay bound to Earth.
Sera comes from a species called Myconians. They're from a planet where the world is dominated by fungal life, much like old Earth. But the fungus found a way to integrate & share bodies with the animal life found there. Due to this shared form the animals from Fungalia have several advantages such as Sera's frequent changing of her body. Every time a Myconian is exposed to harm the body regrows or alters itself. The fungus working like a hivemind share the structure of many species, so despite Sera being born a sheep she is capable of many forms. But this suggests that each change is brought on by harm, she must be accident prone.
